My favorite part of ABA is that every day at work is completely different! You get so many new, fun, and unexpected experiences.
In another life, I’m pretty sure that I was a lawyer!
My favorite client memory is a client trying to convince me for 5 minutes that he was bitten by a radioactive spider and had become Spiderman, and me not realizing it until the end of the conversation.
My advice for someone starting in this field is to remember that client dignity and comfort come first, and to never hesitate to ask clarifying questions.
If I could travel anywhere, I would travel to a beach where I could help scientists get recently hatched baby sea turtles safely to the ocean.

My ultimate career goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and use psychotherapy to help my future clients achieve their full potential.
My favorite client memory is of a client who had a really great day so in return I let him and his sisters use their squirt guns on me on a hot day in August. I was soaked but had the most fun!
My favorite part of my job is watching my kiddos succeed and grow right before my eyes.
My advice for someone starting in this field is to ask questions and lean on your team; there is always more to be learned!
My most meaningful accomplishment is being a first generation college student and graduating at 19 years old with a bachelor’s in science.

My favorite part of ABA is empowering clients and families in feeling confident in the skills they acquire to promote positive behavior change.
​The most inspiring part of my job is the safe and positive relationships that are built with clients, their families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
My ultimate career goal is supporting families for understanding positive behavior change, growth mindsets through acceptance and commitment training, inclusion with social skills training, and using trauma informed care to ensure a safe and supportive relationship.
My favorite client memory is getting to see my non-vocal client use an AAC device for the first time. It was beautiful to finally see this individual be heard by not just those paying attention to nonverbal cues, but by everyone in his environment. Such an empowering moment to be a part of!
My favorite part of my job is working myself out of my job by having clients and families apply the skills they have learned to their natural environment!​

The most inspiring part of my job is getting the opportunity to help clients and their families create milestones and overcome obstacles.
If I were a dog, I would be a dachshund.
My ultimate career goal is to become a BCBA. I would also like to open up a restaurant business that would provide jobs for people on the spectrum.
My favorite client memory was when I taught one of my client’s how to tie his shoes and he ran to his parents and siblings to show them that he had finally learned how to tie his shoes.
My advice for someone starting in this field is to include families in therapy sessions. Collaborating with families can create a more supportive and effective learning environment and lead to better outcomes for the client.

The most inspiring part of my job is contributing to each child’s development and watching them accomplish their goals.
My favorite client memory was when my client said one of their first words- “block”.
My advice for someone starting in this field is not to give up. It may seem stressful at first, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll come to appreciate the difference you’re making in the lives of children and their families.
My most meaningful accomplishment is being the first person in my family to graduate from university.
